Imst Lift Co Offers Reduced Prices For Electricity Customers Of TIWAG & Stadtwerke Imst

The Imst mountain railways are taking the next step towards securing reduced rates for the local population. Customers of the Tyrolean state energy supplier can enjoy reduced prices as part of the TIWAG benefits package. The same applies to customers of the Imst municipal utility company. They also receive reduced prices for day and half-day tickets.

With this latest campaign, the Imster Bergbahnen are completing their measures for the benefit of the Tyrolean population. After all holders of the Tyrolean family pass have already been granted a price advantage, members of clubs and emergency services organizations also benefit from reduced tickets.

"With these discounts, we have covered a large part of the population in our catchment area. In particular, by linking them to electricity purchases from TIWAG and - important for us as Imster Bergbahnen - also from the Imst municipal utilities, we have created a sustainable framework. The people of Tyrol still need affordable local recreational opportunities," explains Bernhard Schöpf, Managing Director of the Imster Bergbahnen.

Schöpf refers to the legal assessment of experts, according to which the company he manages is operating within the legal framework with this special approach. Regardless of this, the Imster Erlebnisticket - a season ticket that can be used all year round - is already available to all EU citizens.
