Iglu Ski Partners with Decathlon
Iglu Ski has agreed a partnership with retailer Decathlon, to bring new products and services to skiers.
A particular highlight is the opportunity for skiers to trade in old gear, and the old gear will receive a ‘Second Life’ when it is resold by Decathlon. It’s a really straightforward way to ensure skis don’t end up in landfill.
In addition, Iglu Ski customers will hear about key Decathlon products such as ski gear for babies, and cutting-edge helmets. Ski customers will be asked to debate whether ski goggles are better than a helmet with a visor.
Skiers will be invited to take advantage of in-store services such as ski servicing, before the next ski trip.
Iglu Ski Managing Director Simon McIntyre said, ‘we are so delighted to be partnering with a brand with service and value at its core, just like us. The more we can deliver an end-to-end ski experience for our customers, considering all they’ll need for their trip, and after, the better.’
Ben Ryan, Affiliate Marketing Manager for Decathlon said, ‘we’re delighted to be able to showcase our key products to Iglu Ski guests. As we have new products every year, with better and better design, we love to share this information to a wider audience. Our new service, where we offer a ‘Second Life’ for skis, means together, we are all doing what we can for the environment.’
