Iglu Ski Announces Italy Expansion, Non-Flight Options & Charity Fundraising For Winter 2024/2025

Iglu Ski is the largest ski travel agency in the UK, retailing more ski holidays than any other travel agent. It offers over 280 resorts and proposes the widest customer choice of ATOL-bonded package holidays, catered chalets, half-board and B&B hotels, together with apartments and holidays rentals. This winter Iglu announces 70,000 new beds in Trentino, Italy, champions non-flight options and sets high fundraising targets for their chosen charity, Disability Snowsport UK.

Managing Director Simon McIntyre says, ‘We’re ready to help every skier to find their perfect holiday, within budget and as seamlessly as possibly. We’ve got big plans underway to ensure there is no better way to research and book a holiday online, and our expert teams in sales and customer care are on hand seven days a week to give free advice. This will be our 26th season of selling winter sports holidays, and we’re raring to go.’

  • New Italy Focus Bringing almost 70,000 new beds in northern Italy, close to the Austrian border, Iglu now features an exciting new range of hotels in Trentino, a fabulously scenic area of the Dolomites, with 16 resorts on offer, including bigger names such as Madonna di Campiglio, Livigno and Val Di Fassa, and lesser-known resorts such as Andalo and Drei Zinnen. Italy Focus
  • More non-flight options Iglu Ski MD Simon McInytre drove to the Alps once again this year in an electric vehicle, and is outspoken about his passion for travelling in this low-carbon way. Iglu will also package train-inclusive packages, opening up selected resorts in France, Austria, Switzerland and Italy for non-flight holidays. https://www.igluski.com/ski-holidays/ski-train-holidays
  • More fundraising for disabled skiers Iglu Ski continues to fundraise for Disability Snowsport UK, to open skiing to everyone. August saw a team from Iglu Ski assist at the Superheroes Triathlon, sponsored by Marvel, and featured by Channel 4 with Clare Balding, raising more than £2,500 in the process. https://www.igluski.com/guides/ski-tips/dsuk
  • More ski holidays available than ever Iglu Ski will offer more than 10 million ski holidays on its site this winter, with departures from November to May. https://www.igluski.com/ski-holidays
  • New short breaks Introducing a new range of short break ski holidays, Iglu can now cater for skiers adding a second trip this winter, or help those looking for a taster break, or those short on time. https://www.igluski.com/ski-holidays/weekend-ski-break
  • More Nordic holidays Norway is growing in popularity for skiers, especially with a new charter flight available this winter from Manchester to Oslo. Norway ticks all the boxes for snow-surety, family fun, and wide, uncrowded slopes, and the price tag may be cheaper than expected. Iglu Nordics
