Hyatt Expands Its Portfolio With Hotel Fluela, Davos
The Hotel Fluela is located in the heart Davos Dorf. It is home to one the largest ski resorts in Switzerland and the World Economic Forum. This hotel has been a key part of the town's transformation to become a well-known business and lifestyle destination. Andreas Gredig, the pioneering founder of the property, reimagined his father’s inn to create the first hotel in Davos. This hotel's remarkable history spans 155 years. Its guests include ski enthusiasts, world dignitaries, and explorers who have enjoyed traditional Swiss hospitality at Hotel Fluela throughout the century.
The luxury hotel, which has 50 rooms, is currently operating unbranded. It will join The Unbound Collection of Hyatt brands in 2023 following extensive renovations. This agreement shows Hyatt's commitment in Europe to significant and continued growth of luxury brands, as well as a commitment to offering unique experiences for guests and World of Hyatt members.
Hotel Fluela is in a great position to make guests feel at home with the thousands of visitors who come to Davos every year for business or pleasure. The hotel is located directly opposite the Davos railway station and only two minutes from the famous Parsenn ski resort's vast slopes. You can enjoy one of 49 beautifully designed guestrooms while taking in breathtaking views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains.
The Unbound Collection by Hyatt is a unique collection of exceptional and inspiring properties that allows guests to enjoy one-of-a kind stays in some the most renowned destinations around the globe. The second Swiss property to join Hyatt's Unbound Collection is Hotel Fluela. It will be joining the already announced hotel in Crans-Montana in Switzerland. This is expected to open in winter 2023.
The Unbound Collection by Hyatt also includes Hyatt European properties such as Hotel Reisen in Sweden and Il Tournabuoni Hotel Italy. Grand Hansa Hotel in Helsinki, Finland is also expected to open in 2023.
