“Alpine Canada is a proud partner of National Ski & Snowboard Day alongside our colleagues at the Canadian Ski Council, Freestyle Canada, and Canada Snowboard,” said Vania Grandi, President and CEO of Alpine Canada. “This annual campaign allows us all to come together as a nation to celebrate our natural winter playground, the training ground for Canada’s elite snowsport athletes. It’s amazing to see how many resorts have joined in this initiative, and we invite all Canadians to join us on the slopes next month and help support our national team athletes while enjoying some of the best ski areas Canada has to offer.”
“National Ski & Snowboard Day benefits Canadian ski and snowboard athletes, with participating resorts across Canada donating proceeds from the two days’ online ticket sales back in support of these athletes’ journeys. It’s a great day for Canadians to get out an enjoy a day outside and Canada’s beautiful ski areas”, states Paul Pinchbeck, President & CEO, Canadian Ski Council.
“National Ski & Snowboard Day is a fantastic opportunity to encourage Canadians of all ages to get a great deal on lift tickets and head out to their favourite resort, all while helping to support our National team”, said Dustin Heise, Executive Director at Canada Snowboard. “We are incredibly grateful for the support of our resort partners, the Canadian Ski Council, and to have the opportunity to go out and ride with our friends at Freestyle Canada & Alpine Canada”.
