Helly Hansen Expands Outdoor Footwear Collection With Technical, Lightweight And Durable Montragon HT

For Winter 2023, global technical outdoor brand, Helly Hansen is expanding its footwear collection with a new technical outdoor style, the Montragon HT – a pinnacle trekking boot, specifically designed for backpacking and longer hikes.

Featuring a combination of HH Arch-Brace TPU plates – one located between the outsole and midsole and the other positioned just underneath the arch of the foot – the Montragon HT is lightweight without compromising protection. The hybrid of TPU plates creates just the right amount of stiffness, enabling the wearer to carry heavier packs and step over ledges or rocks without impacting the performance of the boot. The shoe’s slightly taller construction provides added ankle protection and stability, while the specifically engineered eyestay offers additional support.

Additional high-performance features include:

• A waterproof HELLY TECH membrane, PFC-free durable water-repellent treatment, and fully sealed seams to provide protection in wetter environments
• An HH Lite-Frame upper, which adds stability without increasing weight, as well as an HH® Pro Guard protective, hard-wearing layer used in areas most exposed to the elements, including the toe and heel-cap
• A combination of EVA compounds: an HH Power-Stride midsole, delivering optimal balance, cushioning, and comfort as well as weight rebound, and an HH Max-Comfort insole, offering a customised and long-lasting fit
• An outsole featuring HH Max-Grip, HH Tough-Wear, and HH® Surround-Grip, providing superior grip and traction on a variety of surfaces while maintaining durability

The Montragon HT is constructed with 100% recycled lining and laces and 50% recycled upper materials. 3D printing is also used in the manufacturing process, resulting in zero waste in the production of the boot’s toe box and heel counter.

The Montragon HT will be available in men’s and women’s styles in-store and online starting in September 2023.
