Heidi Weng, Hans Christer Holund And Iivo Niskanen Join The Fischer Race Family
Following the motto "After the season is before the season", three big names of the international cross-country skiing scene have decided to change to the Fischer Race Family. In addition to Heidi Weng, the two-time overall World Cup winner and winner of the Tour de Ski, the newly crowned World Champion over 50 kilometers from Seefeld, Hans Christer Holund, and the two-time Olympic champion Iivo Niskanen will also be preparing for the coming World Cup winter with new equipment
"The main thing is to create the conditions for long-term success," explains Iivo Niskanen on behalf of the team. "The best possible equipment in every condition paired with professional ski maintenance creates a sense of security for this". Hans Christer Holund agrees: "I want to win even more races in the future and become an better cross-country skier. For this I have to improve my training and have the best possible equipment. And I think Fischer will offer me that." Especially the Speedmax 3D skis convinced Hans Christer Holund: "When skating I liked how easy and manoeuvrable the new Speedmax 3D skis were. In Classic they were just really fast on the downhills without compromising the grip on the uphills."
Fischer is happy about the new members of the Fischer Race Family and welcomes the new athletes to the team.
