Gstaad’s Horneggli Cable Car Is To Be Replaced
The existing Horneggli chairlift is now 40 years old. It is planned to replace the existing chairlift with a gondola with or combined gondola / chair and to extend the route, which runs identically to the middle station, to the Hornberg.
In addition to the annual financial statements, details of the new building are presented for the first time in the annual report
In the future, the valley station will also house a car park with around 500 spaces. In order to offer a comfortable arrival situation, the station complex (valley station and underground parking) should be designed in such a way that there is also space for secondary uses such as cloakrooms for cross-country skiers and skiers, rooms for rail operations, offices and counters for ski schools and a ski depot.
Building regulations are required for the project - it is one of six that are currently being drawn up.
