Great Event For Fans Of Popular TV Series "The Mountain Rescuers" : 1,500 Fans Visit Ramsau Am Dachstein

What an experience for around 1,500 fans of the well-known TV series The Mountain Rescuers":

- The 3rd Mountain Rescuer Fan Day offered exciting glimpses behind the scenes and stars up close
- The ZDF ratings hit is produced in the Austrian tourist region of Schladming-Dachstein

As part of the 3rd Mountain Rescuer Fan Day, they were able to experience their stars up close and take a look behind the scenes amidst the stunning mountain scenery in the Styrian filming location of Ramsau am Dachstein. The TV classic about great emotions, romantic tension and dramatic rescue operations in the Styrian Alps has been broadcast since 2009 and reaches up to six million viewers every week on ZDF.

The mountain rescuer fans took the opportunity to experience their stars live in action. The varied, all-day program included a spectacular mountain rescue operation with the "real" Ramsau am Dachstein mountain rescue service and the ÖAMTC air rescue service C14. As a highlight, the stars of the series Sebastian Ströbel, Luise Bähr, Robert Lohr, Markus Brandl and Michael Pascher thrilled the audience in a live talk in the afternoon. They gave an exclusive insight into “The Mountain Rescuers”, answered many questions from fans and were available for countless group photos.

“The TV series is really a great blessing for our region,” emphasises Mathias Schattleitner, Managing Director of the Schladming-Dachstein Tourist Association. “It shows magnificent images of our fantastic mountain world, which reach an international audience of millions and make people want to holiday with us. Of course, we are particularly pleased about the many loyal fans of the series who spend their holidays with us. That is why we are particularly pleased to be able to hold two great mountain rescue events every year: the Mountain Rescuer Fan Day and the Original Mountain Rescuer Fan Hike, which will take place again this autumn.”

The new date for 2025 has already been set.
