Golm: 35 Million Euros For New Mountain Restaurant In Gruneck
The Panorama Restaurant Grüneck was built in 1972. After more than 50 years, the building and infrastructure are outdated and the structure is in urgent need of renovation. For this reason, it was decided to build a new building that is adapted to the requirements of the future.
A family-friendly and modern restaurant with infrastructure is currently being built on the Golm Adventure Mountain. This new mountain restaurant not only ties in seamlessly with the existing family offerings of the Golm Adventure Mountain, but also makes a significant contribution to the holistic development of the Golm Adventure Mountain.
Key data on the construction project
Planned are:
- a self-order restaurant with a children's restaurant for school groups and ski school courses
- an à la carte restaurant, which will be open summer and winter
- a ski rental and ski shop with ski school office
- a ski kindergarten that serves as an indoor playground in summer
- Workshops and a piste equipment garage
The construction process
In summer 2024, the necessary infrastructure will be built and the shell of the main building, which will be built next to the existing restaurant, will be completed. Normal operations in the restaurant will be possible in the 2024/25 winter season. The adaptation of the cable car station as well as the facade shell and the interior design of the restaurant with the adjoining rooms are planned for summer 2025. At the same time, the construction of the workshop and piste equipment garage is to take place this year.
