Gasteiner Bergbahnen - Schlossalm Cable Car For Sale
In 2018, the major Schlossalm Neu project was opened, including the ultra-modern and high-capacity 10 EUB Schlossalmbahn.
The original feeder system between the middle station and the mountain station remained in place for the time being. However, after just two winter seasons it became clear that the additional transport capacity of the cable car that was originally available would no longer be needed in the future.
In the course of the sustainable management of Gasteiner Bergbahnen AG and the good technical condition, the operators are trying to find a second life for this facility.
A re-establishment within the company was examined, but not pursued further after internal discussions.
A second life for our cult cable car from Gastein!
This used cable car from Gastein represents an absolutely sustainable solution, as it is still fully functional and efficient despite its age and operating hours.
It is important to us to breathe a second life into this cable car and extend its service life. In our view, this is sustainability in action in two senses: extending its use and at the same time minimizing the ecological footprint.
