Gasteiner Bergbahnen: New Head of Marketing & Communication

For many, he is no stranger to the cable car and tourism world, having worked in the tourism and cable car industry for years.

After completing his part-time studies in Marketing & Sales at FHWien der WKW, Markus Papai gained over 20 years of international professional experience in management positions with brand, product and marketing responsibility. Most recently, he was responsible for Schmitten in Zell am See as Head of Marketing & Communication and was instrumental in positioning and brand strategy as well as in the development of cross-media digitization and CRM projects in the region!
Since 2018 he has been a member of the Super Ski Card marketing committee as well as of the innovative “think tank” of the WK cable car specialist group.

“I am looking forward to many exciting tasks in my old/new home. My professional passion is the strategic development and linking of future-oriented areas such as digitization, CRM/Big Data and sustainability combined with real and emotionally charged wow experiences,” reports Papai.
