Galsterberg: Building Permit Granted For New Leitner Gondola

Now it's fixed: A new main Leitner gondola the Galsterberg will go into operation in time for the start of the 2022/23 winter season. After more than thirty years, the previous group gondola has had its day and is now being replaced by a modern 10-seater gondola. During the final negotiations on April 21st, the construction permit for the proposed construction of the new cableway was granted.

First of all, the old railway will be professionally dismantled in order to be able to ensure that it can be used elsewhere. The construction work for the new 10-seater gondola will start at the beginning of May and commissioning is planned for the start of the 2022/23 season. "The joy is huge, a milestone for the Galsterberg - with this we are securing the ski mountain for the coming decades. Thank you to everyone who helped make the project possible.
