G3 Strengthens Customer Service Department, Retains NE US Sales Agency
G3, the Vancouver-based manufacturer of premium backcountry ski and snowboard equipment, recently hired Steve Ingold as its customer service manager, bringing his many years of experience in the field to lead G3’s growing customer-service team. G3 also retained the All Mountain Group, a sales agency with deep experience in the industry, and specifically backcountry skiing, to help drive sales growth in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern U.S.
An avid backcountry skier, Ingold joins the G3 team with more than 14 years of experience in the customer service field with companies that focus on high levels of customer satisfaction. Most recently, Ingold ran a customer-service team at MEC, where he helped to restructure the operation to more efficiently manage workloads. In addition to adding Ingold, G3 has further enhanced its customer-service platform through a refined structure, hiring new surge-based staffing to manage seasonal demands, and added customer support tools like ZenDesk, to best manage all incoming queries.
On top of enhancing the customer service team, G3 retained the All Mountain Group (AMG) to represent the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern regions of the U.S. AMG is comprised of outdoor industry veterans Russ Clune, Al Diamond, Tyler Merritt and Erik Mushial. The AMG team has a combined 80 years of sales experience working with outdoor and ski brands.
“With all of the category leading products that G3 has rolled out in recent years, and with more on the horizon, we’ve seen strong sales growth, but we also need to continue to make sure the experiences people have with G3’s customer service and sales reflect the same kinds of values seen in our products,” said Chris Clark, Sales Director for G3. “These two strong additions to our customer-service and sales teams help make sure we’re doing that.”
