FWT Georgia Pro 2025: Spectacular Freeride Action Unfolds On The Kakhiani Face

The FIS Freeride World Tour by Peak Performance returned to the rugged Caucasus Mountains for Stop 4 of the season, where freeriders faced off on the technical and challenging Kakhiani face. With a firm base covered by a new layer of fresh snow and extreme cold, riders had to adapt their strategies—balancing speed, fluidity, and control to put down winning runs.

Following a long weather delay, riders made the most of their time in Georgia, immersing themselves in the local culture and getting accustomed to the unique terrain. But with only one stop remaining before the Tour Cut in Fieberbrunn, the stakes couldn’t have been higher.

From massive freestyle tricks to strategic, high-speed runs, the Georgia Pro delivered dramatic shake-ups in the overall ranking, setting the stage for an intense battle for the final spots in the FWT Final. 

Thrilling Runs and Standout Performances on the Kakhiani Face 

Snowboard Men: Cody Bramwell Delivers a Must-Win Performance

• Cody Bramwell (GBR) put down a clutch, high-scoring run just when he needed it most. He opened with a huge backflip, followed by a smooth wind-lip 360, maintaining speed and control throughout. Navigating a technical high wall feature, he avoided tricky bomb holes and executed a flawless descent, earning 85.67 points and securing his first win of the season.
• Liam Rivera (SUI) recovered from an early mistake, linking a double drop and a backside 360 to earn 71.33 points and take second place. Victor de Le Rue (FRA) played it smart, landing a clean backside 360 and a fluid double drop to score 67.33 points, securing third place.

Snowboard Women: Noémie Equy Extends Her Lead

• Noémie Equy (FRA) proved once again why she leads the standings, riding a fluid and confident line. She combined smooth couloir turns with a frontside 360 off a wind lip, sticking the landing perfectly. A minor control bobble near the bottom didn’t affect her dominant performance, earning her 79.00 points and a second win of the season.
• Michaela Davis-Meehan (AUS) rode a technical and stylish line, handling a controlled air to claim 70.33 points and second place. Núria Castán Barón (SPA) prioritized speed and control, blasting through the face with clean execution to score 69.33 points and take third.

I was pleased with my line choice and landing a 360, which made the difference despite a few mistakes at the end. Overall, I am very happy with the result."

Ski Women: Zuzanna Witych Steps Up When It Counts

With the Cut approaching, Zuzanna Witych (POL) delivered under pressure, dropping into a fast, technical line. She maneuvered steep, rocky terrain with expert precision, linked two massive airs, and stomped her final landing cleanly to take a crucial victory with 77.00 points.

Jenna Keller’s (SUI) smart line choice and strong execution, including a committed cliff drop, earned her 73.67 points and second place. Taylor Dobyns (USA) charged with speed and precision, handling a triple drop sequence to score 68.67 points and achieve the first podium of her career.

Ski Men: Marcus Goguen Claims Back-to-Back Wins

Despite battling illness, Marcus Goguen (CAN) delivered a near-perfect run, linking a 360 into a massive cork 720, both landed cleanly. He capped it off with a stylish screaming semen grab, showing flawless execution under pressure to take his second consecutive win with 92.33 points and solidify his golden bib lead.

Martin Bender’s (SUI) huge 360 and well-executed backflip kept him in contention for the win, finishing second with 90.33 points. Virgile Didier (FRA) threw two massive backflips, navigating technical terrain with confidence to earn 89.17 points and claim third place, securing his first career podium.

With the Georgia Pro in the books, the focus now shifts to the Fieberbrunn Pro, Austria—the final stop before the Cut. Only the top-ranked riders will advance to the FWT Final, making every run in Fieberbrunn a make-or-break moment.
