French Freerider, Wadeck Gorak, Joins FWT21 Roster
With the Ski Boss, Tanner Hall, pulling out of competition due to injury, Wadeck Gorak has been called up as his replacement wildcard. Gorak himself was injured in Kicking Horse Golden BC during FWT20, after getting unstuck on a huge backflip resulting in a partial tear of his inner tibialis. But after months of rehabilitation, the Frenchman is ready to take on the world’s best and throw down some more insane lines.
"I am happy to be able to participate once again in the Freeride World Tour and re-join this beautiful family. I have one goal: go to Verbier and win the Xtreme again! I already have a full list of cool backflip ideas for this season!" said - Wadeck Gorak, FWT competitor
The Frenchman is best known for his win at the 2019 Xtreme Verbier – blowing our minds with a high-speed backflip on the Bec des Rosses. The big question is, can he repeat this performance at the long-awaited 25th edition of the Xtreme Verbier this year?
As health and safety is always the priority for FWT organisers, they are actively working in conjunction with local authorities to ensure each competition is compliant with current regulations.
