Freeride World Tour Stops In Fieberbrunn For 13th Time March 15th To 20th

The Freeride World Tour will stop in Fieberbrunn for the 13th time from March 15th to 20th and will be a festival for all freeride enthusiasts in 2022: with freeride talk, various safety workshops, a look behind the scenes, spectacular shows and much more.

This year, for the first time, Fieberbrunn is part of the finals of the Freeride World Tour (FWT).
After an early cut had already been made after the three previous international competitions, it is now in PillerseeTal and finally in Verbier, Switzerland, with additional points and two rounds per contest day for the world championship title. From the Austrian point of view, the Viennese snowboarder and ex-world champion Manuela Mandl was able to qualify as third for the final events. Freeride Talk at the official Rider Hotel

To kick off the Freeride Week on Monday evening, March 14th, moderator Stefan Steinacher will hold a talk with top-class guests from the sports scene, including Olympic champion Viktoria Rebensburg . The Freeride Talk TIROL will take place at 8 p.m. in the TUI Blue , the official rider hotel of the Freeride World Tour, and will also be broadcast live on the Internet . The following day, of course, the Wildseeloder is the focus of interest. Freeride fans will also be allowed again this year - in the new finish area at the Wildalmen they are particularly close to the riders.

Red Bull Skydive Team with a spectacular after-contest show

After the competition, two real pros of the air offer a spectacular show: Marco Waltenspiel and Marco Fürst , from the Red Bull Skydive Team , are guaranteed to cause amazement with their spectacular wingsuit show. Then it's "Aperol o`clock" in the TUI Blue - the official Rider Hotel also serves as an event area and is open to all visitors. The official program of the tour, such as the opening ceremony (Monday, 4 p.m.) or the official award ceremony (Tuesday, 4 p.m.) will also take place there.
