“Foodies Slalom” At Gore Mountain On 29th

Gore Mountain is gearing up for its annual Restaurant Race on Monday, January 29! This event, designed to unite the Gore Mountain Region's unique array of dining establishments under a little friendly competition, features a dual slalom course for skiers and snowboarders. Typically drawing a field of around 100 racers, this popular event makes for a fun party!

The Restaurant Race invites the various Gore Mountain Region's restaurants to lead a team of their devoted patrons to race on the course and cheer. Teams vie for Fastest Times, Best Spirits, and the Most Racers. An award ceremony in Gore Mountain's Tannery Pub will present the restaurants with trophies and the racers with raffle prizes at 1:30pm. Entry fee is $5 for all ticketed guests and season passholders, and each racer will in turn receive a $5 gift certificate valid at the restaurant they are racing for. Raffle prizes include ski gear, winter accessories, and plenty of dining gift certificates! Registration is from 8:30am to 10:30am in the Base Lodge.
