FIS Supports The Collaboration Between Member Nations France & Monaco
Supported by the FIS Development Programme, the Federation Monegasque de Ski has successful staged the annual alpine TD Seminar for France and Monaco from 12th– 14thOctober 2018 in collaboration with the Fédération Française de Ski. As a FIS Development Programme Member, the Federation Monegasque de Ski showed best practice examples to successfully collaborate with a developed alpine ski nation like the Fédération Française de Ski.
The three-day Seminar with over 60 TD’s and officials involved a slope inspection of the new homologated course “Blanchon” in Isola 2000 (FRA), as well as several working group activities and interesting presentations from different fields all around the alpine sector.
Jaques Pastor, organiser of the Seminar pointed out that: “We had the great opportunity to assist the assigned FIS Alpine Courses Expert to homologate the new slope in Isola 2000 and then to have a really interesting meeting with full attendance and very interesting speakers during two days in Monaco. It has been a great pleasure and honour for the Principality of Monaco to welcome all these Alpine TDs.”
