FIS Staff Changes
It has been a busy summer for FIS as they have welcomed several new members to both the staff in Oberhofen and out in the field with the various World Cup tours.
FIS previously announced the appointment of Niklas Carlsson as FIS Deputy Secretary General, changes to the Alpine World Cup team and the first faces to join FIS Media & Marketing.
In addition to those appointments, the following changes have been made within the FIS Staff.
World Cup Operations:
- Christian Kathol, Equipment Controller Ski Jumping, replacing Mika Jukkara
- Hubert Mathis, FIS Cup Coordinator Ski Jumping, replacing Christian Kathol
- Augusto Gillio, Operational Fluor Testing Coordinator
Marketing:
- Nicolas Rodiagri, Project Manager Alpine, Freestyle Skiing and Snowboard
- Anna Stehl, Project Manager Cross Country (beginning of 1.10.2022)
- Stefan Distel, Project Manager Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined (beginning of 1.9.2022)
The new colleagues are responsible for the sponsorship implementation.

Finally, FIS would like to say goodbye to two long-serving staff members who have decided to leave FIS.
Jolanda von Allmen (nee Bruelisauer) was the former Assistant to FIS President Gian Franco Kasper and the Project Manager for the FIS Congress. After completing her maternity leave, she will leave FIS after more than ten years with the organisation. FIS would like to thank Jolanda for her dedication in the last decade and she will be missed by the entire Ski family.
Head of Services Andy Wenger will also leave FIS in September after eight years with the organisation after accepting a position with Swiss Olympic, also located in the Bern region. While Andy will not be working with FIS anymore, no doubt their paths will continue to cross in the sporting world.
