After the transition of Para Snow Sports governance from the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) to FIS, the licensing programme organized by FIS is now set to be open.
For the first time, Para Athletes will be able to register under the FIS structure for FIS Para Snow Sports events.
A step-by-step manual for athlete registration and licensing in the FIS Para Snow Sports Data Management System (FPDMS) can be found under the Para Sports ‘Documents’ section on the FIS website.
The Para Athletes will have the opportunity to compete at:
- seven World Cup stops with a total of 28 Alpine skiing races,
- five World Cup stops with a total of 20 Nordic skiing races and
- fiveWorld Cup stops with 15 Snowboard races.

The draft World Cup competition schedule for the following season 2023/2024 will be discussed and communicated after the upcoming FIS Technical meetings in Zurich (SUI), SUI September 27-30.
