FIS Donates Sport Equipment To Enhance Nordic Combined Discipline
In its ongoing effort to improve and support the growth of the Nordic Combined discipline, FIS has made a significant donation of 70 roller skis to 15 National Ski Associations (NSAs) across three different regions. This donation aims to provide these NSAs with the opportunity to further practice and enhance their participation in the Nordic Combined discipline, which remains a crucial focus within FIS.
This initiative is part of a broader, long-term commitment by FIS to support the development of Nordic Combined. It will not be a one-time action; rather, similar equipment donations are planned for the next two seasons. This consistent effort sends a clear message to developing NSAs: FIS is determined to provide long-term, tailored support to foster growth within the sport.
These efforts are vital to strengthening the Nordic Combined discipline, ensuring it remains a medal event at the Olympic Games, and meeting the specific needs of member nations.
FIS Development Programmes continue to explore new opportunities to support growth in targeted regions. This initiative highlights FIS’s dedication to ensuring that all its disciplines receive ongoing attention and support on a consistent basis, contributing to the overall success of the sport and its athletes.
