FIS Anti-Doping Program Earns ISO Certification
FIS is proud to announce that its Anti-Doping Programme earned the certification to conform to the Quality Management System standard ISO9001:2015.
With this, an additional layer of transparency of its processes and therefore an overall quality improvement was achieved. The system will be re-evaluated on an annual basis.
"It was an important step for us to both earn the certification and to go through the entire process," said FIS Integrity Director Sarah Fussek. "While the process was quite involved, it helped us to learn about our strengths and areas where we can focus on improvement. We look forward to continuing the process on an annual basis."
ISO 9001:2015 is a non-industry specific certification and is intended for any organisation that wants to implement and maintain a quality management system. Certifications are issued by third certifying bodies.
