Filzmoos Opens Season....In Amsterdam Snowdome
The Salzburg ski region Filzmoos is opening the winter season on October 26th and 27th in the winter adventure hall SnowWorld Amsterdam.

Austria's first ski opening will take place on the weekend (October 26th/27th) in the 'Filzmoos Embassy' in the SnowWorld Amsterdam winter adventure hall in the Netherlands. For the third time, a delegation of around 20 people from Filzmoos is traveling to Amsterdam to offer the Dutch, who love skiing and Austria, a varied show and entertainment program and genuine Austrian hospitality.
The Filzmoos ski demo team puts on an impressive ski show together with the Bögei Girlies, the multiple and current European champions in formation skiing, and the Filzmoos mascot Schörgi. The Filzmoos farmers' market offers Alpine cuisine with Austrian specialties and Salzburg delicacies, the Arzberg Musi brings après-ski flair and musical greetings from Austria to Holland, there is a treasure hunt in the snow for children and an exclusive dream ski holiday with all the trimmings is raffled off among all visitors.
Peter Donabauer, Filzmoos' tourism director, is delighted about the partnership with SnowWorld Amsterdam, which has already developed into a close friendship. "Filzmoos has been the exclusive partner of SnowWorld Amsterdam for three years, the largest winter adventure hall in the greater Amsterdam area and co-organizer of the winter opening with around 10,000 visitors. The Dutch market is particularly important for Salzburg tourism, around 25 percent of our guests come from the Netherlands. The aim of Filzmoos' exclusive partnership with SnowWorld Amsterdam is to inspire as many people as possible to take up skiing and winter sports and to motivate them to take a vacation - summer and winter - in the Filzmoos mountains."
