February Brings Double-Digit Snow Totals To Colorado Ski Areas
Over a foot of snow has blanketed Colorado Ski Country USA member ski areas with more snow expected to fall .
Arapahoe Basin Ski Area is leading the state with 18 inches of fresh powder falling in the last 48 hours, with more snow on the way. Loveland Ski Area came in at 17 inches in 48 hours, giving skiers and riders several days of powder day conditions.
Telluride recorded 12 inches of new snow in the last two days, while 11 inches of fresh powder fell at both Winter Park Resort and Cooper.
Copper Mountain greeted 9 new inches of snow in the 48 hours, while Eldora and Granby Ranch each welcomed 8 inches. Aspen Snowmass received 7 inches of new snow, while Monarch Ski Area, Silverton Mountain, Steamboat Resort and Sunlight Mountain Resort all received 6 inches of fresh powder in 48 hours.
