Following a three-year hiatus, the festival will take place across two weekends from the 18th-19th November and 25th-27th November, featuring a line-up of world-renowned artists and DJs.
Taking place 2,200 metres high on the snow-capped summits of the Swiss Alps, Polaris Festival will welcome both international visitors and locals alike to dance with some biggest names in Techno and EDM, including Folamour, Kyle Hall & Byron The Aquarius, Bicep and Shanti Celeste. With a breathtaking backdrop, multiple indoor and outdoor stages and late-night clubbing, the festival is set to be one for the books this season.
Just a short ski ride away, Experimental Chalet is the perfect high-altitude hot spot for extreme sports and après-ski aficionados from across the globe, with a late-night bar and club for those seeking a prelude to the party or wishing to carry on the revelries of the festival. Offering a selection of 39 rooms and suites designed at the hand of Fabrizio Casiraghi, the chalet is home to Verbier’s fabled Farm Club, the late-night locale that has become an institution with over 50 years of parties – where locals and celebrities rub shoulders on its famous dance floor.
Those seeking a more intimate spot to drink before gearing up for the festival can experience the chalet’s best kept secret; Experimental Cocktail Club Verbier. Situated on the first floor, the grand yet cosy fireplace brings this intimate bar to life and embodies all that is best about the hotel. Serving Experimental craft cocktails and an expert selection of wines and spirits, the bar is an ideal hideaway for a pre-dinner apéritif or as the launchpad for a late night.
The ground floor of Experimental Chalet is home to chef Gregory Marchand’s restaurant – Frenchie Verbier – made famous at his Paris and London Frenchie restaurant locations and providing guests with a satisfying fare after active days and nights. Serving his signature French cuisine using sustainably sourced ingredients, the menu freshens up mountain food with contemporary flair to match Fabrizio Casiraghi’s casually elegant restaurant design.
Guests can end the long weekend at the chalet’s small but perfectly-curated spa, consisting of three treatment rooms and a cryotherapy chamber to recharge after a late night. Relax fireside in the spa’s glass-encased relaxation area with panoramic mountain views, or make use of a hammam and solarium to aid muscle recovery after a long day on the slopes.
Verbier itself is known for its extensive “4 Vallées” ski network making it one of the largest ski areas in Europe, as well as its après ski offering. Catering for skiers of all levels, the slopes of Verbier are also enticing to those looking for off-piste thrills. The advanced ski system can deposit guests to the top of three separate mountains, all powered by 100% renewable electricity. Verbier also offers a flight free option, with 3 train changes from London to Le Châble.
