DSV's Stefan Wirbser Passes Away

The German Ski Federation, Snowboard Germany and FIS are mourning the death of Stefan Wirbser, President of the Skiverband Schwarzwald and head of the Organising Committee in Feldberg. 

The 53-year-old held honorary positions in the Skiverband Schwarzwald for the past two decades, was a member of the DSVL board and auditor for Snowboard Germany. In his hometown of Feldberg, where he also held the position of mayor, he was one of the driving forces for the annual FIS Ski and Snowboard Cross World Cups. Also the Ski Jumping World Cup in Titisee-Neustadt and the Nordic Combined World Cup Finals in Schonach profited from his know-how.
