Dolomiti Superski Reports Satisfactory 2024-25 Winter Season

Even though some ski resorts in the Dolomites will remain open for a few more days, cable car operators in the Dolomites are satisfied with the current figures. Demand for ski holidays remains high, and all 12 Dolomiti Superski ski resorts continue to record strong visitor numbers. The results are slightly better than last year's and, with a 0.89% increase in first-time visitors, crown the 50th season of Dolomiti Superski. The composition of customers' countries of origin is also changing: While Italy (currently around 45%) and Germany (currently around 15%) remain Dolomiti Superski's main markets, the USA currently enjoys a strong position – thanks in part to Dolomiti Superski's cooperation with the North American ski pass network IKON Pass. "We are currently observing a realignment of the guest structure based on their origins. New markets are discovering the Dolomites, while nations that have been vacationing here for some time are increasing their presence and loyalty. The traditional leaders, Italy and Germany, retain more than half of the market and remain our beacons," says Dolomiti Superski Marketing Director Marco Pappalardo. The average overnight guest (excluding day and season passes) has purchased 4.35 ski pass days this winter. Accordingly, the 4-day ski pass is also growing, in line with this trend.
