Demaclenko Supplies A Snow Gun In A Special Design As The “Official Supplier Of The Hahnenkamm”

A longstanding partnership has already linked DEMACLENKO with the ski resort of Kitzbühel, which has now reached another milestone. In 2020, the “Streif”, one of the most famous men’s downhill races in the Skiing World Cup, was equipped with snow guns of the latest generation. Special highlight: a Titan 4.0 now adorns the finishing slope in a special red-white design on the “Hahnenkamm”.

Already since the beginning of DEMACLENKO’s company history in 2011, Bergbahnen Kitzbühel have relied on the quality and expertise of the snowmaking specialists. Over the years, there has been continuous investment in upgrading the systems and realising customised solutions.  The impressive balance: DEMACLENKO has already supplied around 320 snow guns to KitzSki and was crucially involved in building three pump stations. Furthermore, DEMACLENKO is the “Official Supplier” of the Hahnenkamm Race.

In 2020, the partnership was crowned off with the handover of a snow gun that was specifically designed for KitzSki, which is now an eye-catcher on the “Streif” finishing slope. The special edition is a Titan 4.0 type fan gun, which was officially introduced in 2020 and immediately convinced customers all over the world. With a water flow rate of 12 l/s, Titan 4.0 is the most powerful snowmaker on the market, which means a maximum snow production quantity of 120 m3/h (25.4 cfm).

In addition to the machine with the special branding, a total of 32 new snow guns were supplied in 2020, which are now strengthening the powerfulness of the Kitzbühel snowmaking network. Furthermore, DEMACLENKO has been mandated with the hydraulic works for the “Aschauer Ache” water catchment and for the “Aschauer Ache” and “Röhrmoos” pump stations. Furthermore, the latter was partly upgraded.
