Demaclenko Partners With KTI On Snowmaking In ‘Plus’ Temperatures

DEMACLENKO is now the official sales partner of KTI-Plersch Kältetechnik GmbH, the world's leading manufacturer of flake and plate ice technology. As a result, DEMACLENKO has secured the international distribution rights for the long-established SNOWPRO, a turnkey container solution for efficient snowmaking at plus degrees.
Founded in 1986, KTI-Plersch Kältetechnik GmbH is a 100% family-run company with its headquarters in Germany and a strong international focus. As the inventor of the first containerized, turnkey refrigeration systems, KTI has already successfully implemented projects all over the world. The extensive product range also includes SNOWPRO – previously marketed by a competitor as SnowFactory – a snow-making system that can be used to produce snow all year round, regardless of temperature and weather. Thanks to the newly sealed partnership with KTI, DEMACLENKO is now an internationally licensed sales partner and can thus offer its customers another product line for the increasingly popular snowmaking at plus degrees.
The first plant for the production of flake ice was already delivered by KTI in 1987 and at that time was primarily used for cooling concrete and mines. Since 2013, the technology has also been used in systems for making snow at plus degrees. Over the years, due to continuous further development and optimization, extensive know-how has matured, which makes KTI the world market leader in this industry. In addition to the flake ice technology, the plate ice technology was also adapted to snowmaking, which clearly underlines the pioneering role and pioneering spirit of KTI in this field. This technology guarantees even more efficient and economical operation as well as even better snow preparation.
"Thanks to the new sales partnership with KTI, we have a range of products available with which we can optimally cover all requirements," says Andreas Lambacher, CEO of DEMACLENKO. “All of the installed components come from European manufacturers, which means that rapid availability of the systems as well as the highest quality and longevity can be guaranteed. Customers benefit from many years of experience, extensive know-how and professional customer support. In addition, KTI is the only provider that also uses plate ice technology for snow production at plus degrees. This represents an absolute novelty on the market and opens up new, undreamt-of potential for snowmaking at plus degrees.”
"We are pleased that we are now working in partnership with one of the most successful, technologically leading and most innovative companies in the field of snowmaking and snow production - the company DEMACLENKO," says Ms. Walleter-Plersch, managing partner of KTI-Plersch Kältetechnik GmbH. "In addition to our own sales, the DEMACLENKO company is including the entire range of KTI products in the field of snowmaking at plus degrees in its sales portfolio and sells the products worldwide. We are going into the market with combined forces and starting a long-term cooperation that will be successful for both partners.”
The systems are permanently installed in containers and are available in various sizes and maximum production quantities per day. The offer ranges from 70 m³ to 100 m³, 210 m³ and 260 m³ up to 360 m³. The systems can be operated with different refrigerants and are delivered turnkey and 100% approved. This enables an uncomplicated setup and quick start-up according to the "Plug & Play" principle. In addition, SNOWPRO meets all the highest quality standards, as it is the only product of its kind made exclusively from components from European suppliers. The comprehensive customer service and the fast supply of spare parts round off the overall package perfectly.
In addition to the plants from KTI, Snow4Ever 200, which was introduced in 2021, is still part of the DEMACLENKO product range. As a result, DEMACLENKO now offers the most extensive and complete range of snow-making options for temperatures above zero and can meet any requirements and customer requests individually and precisely with regard to the type of snow-making and the size of the system.
