Demaclenko Founds A New Company With WLP - WLP Systems

DEMACLENKO continues its differentiation strategy together with the WLP company with the creation of a new entrepreneurial reality: WLP Systems. Specialized in water mist technology to combat dust and odors, disinfection and fire-fighting, thus expanding to a broader range of further innovative products and services.

DEMACLENKO, a company within the HTI Group (LEITNER, POMA, PRINOTH, DEMACLENKO and LEITWIND) firmly pursues its course of diversification and thereby presents a bold and important signal in portentous times. With the foundation of WLP Systems, DEMACLENKO is extending its portfolio with complementary products which are based, like its snow guns, on water mist know-how, in order to gain a foothold in new sectors. WLP has already made a name for itself in the sale of dust and odor suppression systems which ensure rapid and effective binding of dust in the work environment. The products are used, for example, in construction sites, production halls, tunnel building and landfill sites, and guarantee more efficient workflows and health of employees.

In addition, WLP Systems’ company location in Castelnuovo in the Valsugana will also become the new DEMACLENKO snowmaking service location, “WLP Systems’ location is very important to us strategically, because we will be even closer to our customers in Trentino,” said Martin Leitner, President of DEMACLENKO. “In addition, synergies and expertise from various business fields will combine and strengthen the areas of research and development.”

The fact that new lines of business open the door to additional sectors, and make it possible to extend our range of customers and market segments, has been strikingly proved in recent months. Collaboration between DEMACLENKO and WLP had indeed already begun at the start of the pandemic crisis: An efficient, fully automatic disinfection system with a special fan was developed as quickly as possible, which ensured fully automatic and comprehensive disinfection of gondolas. In parallel with this, an innovative firefighting turbine was developed, which can be fitted for fire protection in many sectors.

WLP can already show over 15 years’ experience and great success, and Managing Director Mario Passeri looks with pleasure towards the future: “We have years of reliability behind us and have experience of establishing a market that didn’t exist before.
