Darn Tough Vermont Re-Signs All Four Professional Athletes

Darn Tough Vermont, the leading American manufacturer of premium performance socks, has re-signed all four professional athletes to their 2024 athlete roster: ultra-runner Mirna Valerio, sit-skier Trevor Kennison, freeskier Michelle Parker, and Vermont-based snowboarder Jake Blauvelt.

Through these ongoing partnerships, Mirna, Trevor, Michelle, and Jake will continue to offer perspective to Darn Tough’s latest product innovations and designs.

“We are thrilled to continue our efforts with this talented roster of athletes. They have been instrumental over the years in the sock design process for a variety of our categories,” said Jake Largess, Category Manager at Darn Tough. “We look forward to continuing our work together – elevating the quality of our socks, collaborating with our athletes on their events, and highlighting our partnerships.”

Both Michelle and Jake first signed with the brand in 2019 and have spent the past 4 years contributing first-person insights on quality, style, and design for Darn Tough’s award-winning socks. Michelle Parker hails from Truckee, California and is an advocate for climate awareness, female representation, and backcountry education. Jake Blauvelt, a Vermont native and qualified snowboarder, is passionate about community support and advocacy. In March 2024 for the 4th consecutive year, he will host Blauvelt Banks, an annual banked slalom event that takes place at his home resort in Bolton Valley, Vermont.

In 2021, the brand signed Mirna Valerio, an ultrarunner, and neighbor of Darn Tough in Vermont, who advocates for inclusivity and is dedicated to normalizing an outdoor lifestyle for all bodies, genders, and identities. Last but certainly not least, this past year, Darn Tough added the ‘Sit Ski Boss’ Trevor Kennison to its lineup – helping to further support the brand’s Snow Collection. Trevor rose to stardom in 2019 when he took center stage at Jackson Hole’s annual Kings and Queens of Corbet’s Competition as the first sit-skier to launch into the famous couloir. Trevor’s upcoming documentary film, Full Circle, depicts his journey and is a story of post traumatic growth.
