Courchevel Rethinks Mobility In The Resort

To favor soft mobility, Courchevel is developing cable transport this winter. The resort is extending the opening hours of its Le Praz cable cars (connecting Courchevel Le Praz to Courchevel 1850) and Grangettes (between Courchevel Village and Courchevel 1850), from 7.45 am to 11.30 pm , from December 11 to April 10, 2022.

Conscious issues of a sustainable mountain, the municipality of Courchevel in close collaboration with the S3V (Société des 3 vallées) wants by this strong choice, to support the mobility of tourists, residents and seasonal workers in an eco-responsible way.

The stated objective is to reduce road traffic and thus CO2 emissions, facilitate traffic between villages, facilitate and reduce travel time.

Holidaymakers will thus be able to enjoy a nighttime getaway for a longer period, attend an event or even dine in one of the villages of Courchevel, as for seasonal workers they will be able to go to work without taking their vehicle.
