Copper Mountain Announces Music Lineup For Third Annual Union Peak Festival
Copper Mountain is looking ahead to summer with another lineup of amazing events including the return of Union Peak Festival. Copper will celebrate the convergence of community, sport and art for the third summer in a row on Sept. 8-10. This year’s music headliners for the three-day free event are Spoon, Fitz and the Tantrums and Quinn XCII.

In addition to free live music performances throughout the weekend, Union Peak Festival will integrate sports demonstrations, clinics and art activations for guests to experience. Those that want to make the most of their weekend with exclusive stage viewing access, complimentary food and beverages, swag and more are encouraged to purchase a Full Weekend VIP pass for $400 per person.
Headline Performances
A weekend of sensational concerts will kick off on Friday, Sept. 8 with a performance from Spoon. The quintet of rockers from Austin, TX will rock Copper’s Center Village. California based indie pop band Fitz and the Tantrums will headline Saturday night on Sept. 9, playing hits like “Out of My League” and “HandClap” from their music catalogue. And lastly, American singer-songwriter Quinn XCII will close out the weekend festivities with a live performance on Sunday, Sept. 10, for what is sure be a massive finale. All music performances are free to attend. Opening acts for the festival will be announced soon. Past headliners at Union Peak Festival have included WALK THE MOON, Saint Motel, X Ambassadors and AJR.

Festival Programming
Union Peak Festival will connect creative-minded individuals and outdoor enthusiasts during a weekend of elevated pursuits at the Athlete’s Mountain. Attendees can explore art installations and wander through vendor booths in the village featuring hand-made creations. Mountain sports devotees are invited to partake in sports demonstrations and outdoor meetups including golf skills clinics at Copper Creek Golf Course, morning yoga on the mountain, guided group mountain bike rides and fly-fishing casting clinics.
A weekend of athletic endeavors wouldn’t be complete without the Summit Up 9K/5K Trail Run, happening on Saturday morning. Runners are invited to challenge their high-altitude lung capacity with a running race on the mountain that will test even the most seasoned sprinter. The course will surpass an elevation of 11,000 ft and climb into the high-alpine on the mountain. Runners will cross the on-mountain finish line and celebrate their strain at the 10 Barrel Backcountry Brew Pub with refreshing brews, brats and tunes.
