When international top acts from the electronic music scene merge with snowy mountains, rustic huts and glorious sunny skiing - then it's SNOWBOMBING time again. Also this year, from April 10th to 15th, 2023, the craziest music festival in the snow will take place in the Mayrhofen-Hippach holiday region. The locations range from rustic mountain huts and cozy chill-out areas in the Ahorn and Penken ski areas to the idyllic forest festival site and the music pavilion in Mayrhofen. The highlights include the unique street party and the breathtaking open-air concerts at the forest festival site.
No end of the season without the coolest music festival in the snow. This tradition will be taken into account again this winter when on April 10th it's time to "raise the curtain and turn on the sound" - it's SNOWBOMBING time in Mayrhofen. The combination of music, sunny skiing and partying is unique in the Alps. Thousands of music-loving Brits are expected again this year to party wildly. "Our holiday region stands for a rich in contrast and colorful tourism portfolio and snow bombing is now just as much a part of our tourism DNA as many a popular traditional music festival in summer," reports Andreas Lackner, Managing Director of the tourism association.
The line up leaves nothing to be desired
The colorful festival program in a wide variety of locations promises sophisticated, electrifying club sound and impressive live acts from top-class artists. For the first time in Mayrhofen: the well-known musician Jamie XX , member of the popular band "The xx" and award-winning Grammy winner for his solo album "In Colour". The successful DJ Patrick Topping is also one of the exciting newcomers. With his program he creates a dance floor balance that you can't resist.
The rapper Loyle Carner , who has already been a guest in Mayrhofen and has made a name for himself with songs such as "Damselfly", "Ottolenghi" and "Ain't Nothing Changed", will ensure a great atmosphere at the "Street Party" .

The festival experience in Mayrhofen
The organizers of Snowbombing also rely on a mixture of the new and the tried and tested at this festival. The week-long festival starts with the " Welcome Party" on Easter Sunday on Mayrhofen's Obere Hauptstraße. Another fixed point in the calendar is the "Street Party " on Tuesday, April 11 at the music pavilion. The motto is still top secret. It will always be colourful, because the British are known for their unusual and imaginative costumes. The " Racket Club ", which opens its doors from 10 p.m., is a fixed point for all night owls at a later hour .
