The Compagnie des Alpes and all its 5000 employees welcome the decision of the International Olympic Committee to select the candidacy of the French Alps to enter into an exclusive targeted dialogue with a view to hosting the 2030 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games!
This invitation from the Olympic body is a real recognition of the French know-how, both in terms of organizing international events (World Championships in Courchevel Méribel 2023, Criterium de la Première Neige in Val d'Isère,...) and in Regarding professionalism and expertise. This strong decision is also an encouragement for the French mountain regions to continue or even accelerate the implementation of concrete measures in favor of increasingly sustainable and coherent spatial planning.
