Chill Factore Celebrates The Godfather Of Snowboarding
In memory of Jake Burton Carpenter, renowned snowboarder and founder of popular snowboard brand Burton, Chill Factore will be joining ski resorts worldwide on Friday 13th March to celebrate his life and all that he brought to the sport
From 7pm - 9pm, the UK’s longest indoor real snow slope will be offering free* two hour lift passes to all guests so that they can ski or snowboard in honour of the US ‘godfather of snowboarding’ who sadly passed away in 2019.
All donations from the event, which will also include a raffle, live music, additional features on the slope and much more, will be given to Burton’s chosen charity, The Chill Foundation, a charity that aims to support and empower young people through board sports.
Aiming to bring the snowsports community together, Chill Factore will give away a limited number of 180 lift passes, and give avid board enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy additional features on the main slope, including a Shotgun Rail, Picnic Whoop, Big Gasser and Rainbow Box. Lift passes can be secured now via the Chill Factore guest service desk, call centre or website
Raffle tickets will be available on the evening too, where guests will have the opportunity to win a variety of prizes, such as a Chill Factore monthly unlimited lift pass, a meal for two at Lift Up Café, an i-Fly indoor sky diving voucher and Burton products. Those with lift passes will also receive a complementary raffle ticket on arrival.
All those that attend will be entertained by live music, with DJ Dave Chapman playing back to back tracks out on the sub-zero slope.
Celebrate the life of a legend at Chill Factore, on what promises to be a fantastic evening of live music and snowsports.
*Donations are suggested with 100% of the proceeds going to Chill Foundation.
