Chalets1066, the largest operator in the French resort of Les Gets, one hour’s drive from Geneva Airport and known for its friendly atmosphere, extensive ski slopes and buzzing village centre, has launched another three new properties during the winter season, offering its guests the chance to sample some of the very best chalets in the area.

All three of the properties are newly built and designed to the very highest specifications. There’s two stand-alone chalets and one duplex apartment in a brand new building.

Chalets1066 was established in 2008 and has been operating exclusively in Les Gets ever since. The owners and the staff live and work in Les Gets all year round. The large living room with its modern, open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining room with cathedral windows forms the heart of the Folie Douce, and is ideal for gathering around the fireplace after a day on the slopes.

Carmen – one of the most impressive chalets in Les Gets, and so close to the centre

Designed over 3 floors and close to the centre of Les Gets, this large chalet has its own wellness centre on the lower ground floor. Chalet Carmen is a spectacular, brand new chalet of 380m2, spread over three floors. It has 5 en-suite bedrooms, an incredibly spacious living room, sauna and hot tub and is located close to the centre of Les Gets. The tastefully chosen decoration and furnishings create a sumptuous and comfortable atmosphere for a luxurious stay.

The living room, on the top floor, overlooks the village of Les Gets offering spectacular views over the Chavannes slopes. A terrace is also accessible from the living room to enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains. A hot tub and a large glass sauna complete the extensive facilities of Chalet Carmen. On the lower floor, a room with a large screen and a large sofa is available for movie and game nights.

Cairn Harmony – ultra smart duplex living with lots of space

Duplex apartment in a smart new building close to the Perrières ski lift and within a short walk from the centre of Les Gets. Cairn Harmony is a duplex flat in a brand-new building, located in the Perrières area, not far from the Perrières ski lift. There is a large terrace with extensive views over the slopes of Les Perrières, ideal for watching the sun rising.

The spacious living area has a modern fully equipped kitchen opening onto the dining room and lounge area with TV corner. The high-spec Scandinavian-style furniture helps to provide a cosy and comfortable atmosphere. A large table provides comfortable seating for 10 people.

The rooms are tastefully decorated and all have new, high-quality bedding. The Cairn Harmony apartment is composed by 5 bedrooms with different configurations to accommodate groups or families up to 10 people (8 adults and 2 children, not suitable for 10 adults). One of the bedrooms has its own dressing room. Two of the bedrooms are attached to an ensuite shower room. A bathroom and 2 toilets are separate from the bedrooms.

Flexible catering options

Chalets1066 looks after whole chalets and apartments only and doesn’t provide catering but works with many close partnerships that offer a variety of food options including private chef services and food delivery services. This flexible approach means the customer can choose the level of food they would like and save money on their overall holiday. Because accommodation only prices don’t include TVA (VAT), it means a considerable saving when extra services are paid for separately. Chalets1066 can help to facilitate catering services.

• Food delivery prices start at around €20 per person for a 2 course meal.
• Chef services cost between €35 and €50 per person for a 3 course meal with wine.
