Camber Outdoors Opens Applications For 2020 Beneficiaries
Camber Outdoors, a national nonprofit supporting workplace inclusion, equity, and diversity across the active-outdoors industries, opened applications for its 2020 Camber Exchange Beneficiaries with a deadline of March 15, 2020.
Camber Exchanges are local, in-person program events around the country that bring together a community of people who support workplace inclusion, equity, and diversity.
Up to six nonprofit partner beneficiaries will be selected in 2020 representing six geographic regions across the U.S. Event registration funds and donations collected at Camber Exchanges will be distributed evenly across these nonprofit partners at the end of the year. Additionally, Camber Exchanges seek to support the creation of long term and mutually beneficial networking and relationship development between our Beneficiaries, regional partners and community members.
"Our goal is to support other nonprofits doing great work in the space of workplace equity in the active-outdoors industries by offering them flexible mini-grants to grow capacity to deliver workplace learnings within their organizations or through their programs," said Elyse Rylander, Camber Outdoors Partnership Manager. "Former beneficiaries have included Outdoor Afro and Latino Outdoors to name a few. They are both wonderful examples of organizations that foster collaborative partnerships to increase workplace inclusion."
Applications for Camber Exchange Beneficiary “mini-grants” are open to nonprofits with a 501c3 status, annual revenue of $250,000 or less, and initiatives or programs that promote workplace equity in the active-outdoors industries.
