South Tyrol Pass holders can use over 60 of 100 lift facilities more cheaply this summer thanks to the joint campaign by nordtirolmobil and the Association of South Tyrolean Cable Car Companies.

The joint benefit campaign "Cableway Summer 2024" was organized by State Mobility Councilor Daniel Alfreider, Martin Vallazza, Director of the State Department for Infrastructure and Mobility, Helmut Sartori, President of the Association of Cable Car Companies in South Tyrol, and Gunde Bauhofer, Managing Director of the South Tyrol Consumer Center, in Bolzano today (May 10th). presented.

All those who have or apply for a South Tyrol Pass, the Euregio Family Pass, the South Tyrol Pass abo+, the South Tyrol Pass 65+ or the South Tyrol Pass free by the deadline of May 17, 2024 can enjoy the 2024 cable car summer. “Public transport is the best choice when it comes to getting from A to B. This summer we want to make public mobility even more attractive and enable trips to our wonderful South Tyrolean mountains at reduced prices,” says State Mobility Councilor Alfreider.

At least 30 percent discount for over 60 lifts

According to Sartori, president of the cable car companies in South Tyrol, the campaign includes over 60 lift systems out of the 100 cable cars active in the summer. “They are offering South Tyrol Pass customers a discount of at least 30 percent this summer. The promotion begins on June 1st and lasts until the end of the summer season of the respective cable car company.”

It is pleasing that South Tyroleans can now be offered an advantage in a secure legal framework and that the mountains are becoming a little more accessible, especially for families, said the managing director of the South Tyrol Consumer Center, Gunde Bauhofer.

All South Tyrol Pass customers will receive a sticker in the mail in the next few days that must be attached to the card. If you go on a trip to the mountains, the pass, including stickers and ID, must be presented at the ticket offices of the participating lift and cable car companies in order to benefit from the discount.

Cable cars that are already integrated into the South Tyrol Pass (Rittner cable car, Mendel funicular, Kohlern, Mühlbach-Meransen, Vöran and Mölten cable cars) are excluded from the promotion.
