Bogus Basin To Open Tubing Hill, Nordic Operations This Weekend
Bogus Basin announced today that additional activities will operate this weekend, including The Pepsi Gold Rush Tubing Hill, Frontier Point Nordic Lodge and a non-lift served (hiking only) terrain park near the Deerpoint Chairlift #1. Activities include tubing, Nordic skiing and a non-lift served terrain park near the Simplot Base Area
“We’re continuing to make snow on a daily basis and anticipate opening more terrain next weekend,” said General Manager Brad Wilson. “If the current weather pattern continues, we expect to have the Coach lift open along with our two new beginner conveyer lifts on December 16th.” The nonprofit recreation area will wrap up a yearlong celebration of its 75th Anniversary on December 22nd with a planned birthday party and family friendly activities.

Pepsi Gold Rush Tubing Hill hours:
Saturday, 12/9: 9:00am - last session to start at 4:30pm (tubing hill will close at 6:00pm)
Sunday, 12/10: 9:00am - last session to start at 3:00pm (tubing hill will close at 4:30pm) Reservations available online at www.bogusbasin.org under tickets & passes. The cost is $15 plus tax. For tubing hill information, call 208-332-5493.
The Frontier Point Nordic Lodge will be open from 10:00am to 4:00pm on Saturday and Sunday for tickets, lessons and rental equipment. The Nordic Highway has been groomed from Frontier Point Lodge to Superior, a 6.4K out and back loop. For Nordic center information, call 208-332-5390.
A non-lift served terrain park for intermediate to advanced skiers and snowboarders has been built near the Deerpoint Chairlift. Access is available by hiking, and is free of charge.
The Simplot Lodge will be open for restroom access only on the main floor.
Bogus Basin’s downtown sales office will be open on Saturday from 10:00am to 5:00pm for season pass pickups and retail purchases. For sales office questions, call 208-332-5162.
