BMW Group Is The New "Mobility Partner" Of The German National Biathlon Ski Team
The BMW Group is the new "mobility partner" of the German National Biathlon Ski Team. This was announced by the German Ski Association and the Munich car manufacturer as part of the first official vehicle handover. DSV and BMW agreed on a four-year term until 2026. At the same time, BMW is extending its commitment as a premium partner of the "Biathlon World Team Challenge" at Schalke until 2025.
At the start of the new cooperation, the German biathlon team was a guest at BMW World in Munich to take delivery of a total of 17 new vehicles.

Benedikt Doll, Denise Herrmann, Johannes Kühn, Vanessa Hinz and Vanessa Voigt each received the key to a BMW 330e Touring. The sustainable plug-in hybrid is manufactured just a few meters from BMW Welt at the BMW Group's main plant in Munich, which is celebrating its 100th birthday this year. Franziska Preuß also opted for an efficient hybrid vehicle, the BMW X3 xDrive30e.
"With BMW we were able to win the ideal partner for the biathlon discipline," explained Walter Vogel, Director of Marketing at the German Ski Association. "BMW has been one of the most important partners in international biathlon for many years. From now on, our national mobility partnership will add additional horsepower to the joint communication and activation measures. And driving pleasure is also guaranteed on the routes between the individual World Cup stations ."
