"Blick Winter Awards" - Arosa Lenzerheide Is The Best Ski Area In Switzerland, Twice

As part of the "Blick Winter Awards", the Blick Group, together with Switzerland Tourism, voted for the best ski area in Switzerland in the five categories "Ski and snowboard", "Sport and fun", "Family friendliness", "Small and fine" and "Cross-country skiing" called and 76 Swiss ski destinations took part. The Blick community voted diligently and cast over 53,000 votes for their favorite ski areas. The Arosa Lenzerheide ski area came out on top in the "Ski and snowboard" and "Family-friendliness" categories and thus received the award for the best ski area in Switzerland in these two categories. 

Best ski and snowboard area in Switzerland

Since the merger of the Arosa and Lenzerheide ski areas a little more than eight years ago, Arosa Lenzerheide has been one of the best and largest ski areas in Europe. 225 km of perfectly groomed pistes with guaranteed snow, long hours of sunshine and a wide range of culinary options leave nothing to be desired: black pistes to really get on the edges, wide pistes on which curves with large radii can be made, pleasure pistes, free children's areas and a snow park with four different areas. In addition, top offers and events such as the Light Ride, Humor Festival, Women's Ski World Cup or Ski Cross World Cup. Last year, Skiresort.de awarded the Arosa Lenzerheide ski area the test winner 2021 in the categories "Slope offering", "Best black slope" and "5-star ski area". Now the Blick community is following suit and distinguishing Arosa Lenzerheide. "We are very happy about the award for the best ski and snowboard area in Switzerland, as this came about through a vote by the guests," says Philipp Holenstein, CEO of Arosa Bergbahnen AG, happily. Thomas Küng, CEO of Lenzerheide Bergbahnen AG, adds: "It shows us that we as the Arosa Lenzerheide ski area are doing a lot right with our offers and our service concept and at the same time motivates us to continue to actively invest in this area."

Best ski area in Switzerland in the “Family-Friendly” category

In the "Family-friendliness" category, the Blick community also voted the Arosa Lenzerheide ski area first place. Public and freely accessible children's areas, numerous blue and family pistes, meet Globi on his own piste - which will open next Saturday - help the little fidget bear to get tired and full, gain first experiences in the Bärensnowpark or the Woodranch, become a real light rider , children's menus or family platters in mountain restaurants, a trip to the Arosa Bear Land and much more - family skiing days are the most fun in the Arosa Lenzerheide ski area of ​​the Blick community. As a further highlight, the ski school is included for children and young people when staying overnight in partner companies in Arosa.
