Big Time Return To Spring Events At Mt. Hood Meadows

From this Saturday’s Full Sail Banked Slalom to the Kona Pondskim on closing day May 7, events are making a SpringSational come back to Mt. Hood Meadows. After a two-year pandemic hiatus, Meadows' most anticipated events will be presented with fervor and an invitation to welcome everyone to the mountain during this awesome time of the season. Meadows is open daily through April 24 with extended weekends April 29 - May 1 and May 6 - 7 to accommodate Spring skiing and great events on the mountain!

Meadows Spring Passes are on sale for $249 for adults ($229 for seniors 65+ and $199 for juniors 24 and under) and is offering an incredible Spring Beginner Progression Package that includes the Spring Pass, plus three group lessons and unlimited equipment rentals for just $299.

There are also special lift ticket and learning deals associated with the different events including a special $30 ticket for Suits and Boots April 23 to raise money for the Human Access Project, and discounts on learn to ski and snowboard packages, snow shoe tours and lift tickets to make the mountain more accessible for Pride Day April 16.

Meadows has also added two Vista Snowshoe Tours on April 8 and 10 to accommodate the demand for these spectacular experiences. Snowshoers catch last chair on the Vista lift, get uplifted to the 6,600 foot level and take a guided walk along White River Canyon enjoying panoramic views of Mt. Hood and the south Cascades. The tour concludes with dinner at the Alpenstube.

We’ve expanded the definition of “suit” - beyond swimwear - three piece suit, snowmobile suit, suit of armor - pretty much anything that suits your fancy except - birthday suits (we’re still a family mountain)! Consider it more of a fun costume day than a swim suit day - so dress up, join us and let’s raise some money to make the Willamette River more accessible! Suits and Boots is presented by Kona Brewing.

A vendor village with manufacturers, sponsors, sustainable organizations and a live DJ set the vibe for spectators at the event. The competition format will be a jam session with finals to determine the winners. The event will once again raise funds for the Eagle Creek Fire Restoration project.

Saturday, May 7 - Sno-Kona Pond Skim
Kona Brewing brings the flavor of the islands back to Meadows for our season-ending premier event. Fearless competitors brave the icy water of our 100 foot-long base-area pond, dressed in costumes and intent on impressing the crowd for prizes and glory. Live music, thrills and spills and liquid aloha from Kona Brewing make it a sensational day!
