Big “Nordic Winter Opening” Starts Schladming XC Season

In the Styrian cross-country skiing mecca of Ramsau am Dachstein, the official starting signal will be given next weekend with the “Nordic Winter Opening” for hobby runners of all abilities and ages. The program for the three-day event from December 7th to 10th includes technology courses, material tests, an introduction to laser biathlon and much more.

With a total of 220 kilometers of trails in Ramsau am Dachstein, cross-country skiers will always find the perfect trail. 125 kilometers are dedicated to classic cross-country skiing and 95 kilometers to skating - freshly groomed every day. And new this year: A little southwest of the World Cup stadium, in the area of ​​the reservoir, the “Kalis Cross Park” will soon be opening its doors for the first time . Cross-country skiers of all ages can explore a varied technical course here.
