Best Of The Alps Holds Annual Meeting In Kitzbuhel

Best of the Alps - the merger of the most traditional tourism destinations in the Alps - can look back on a long history of success. The focus of this year's General Assembly in Kitzbühel was on the joint strategic positioning of future tourism issues. 
Best of the Alps - behind it are the eleven names Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, St. Anton am Arlberg, Crans-Montana, Kitzbühel, Seefeld, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Lech Zürs am Arlberg, Cortina D'Ampezzo, Courmayeur, Mégève and davos The connection between these traditional destinations has existed for over 25 years. 
Even if each place brings its own personal touch, these destinations combine a long history of winter sports, a high level of internationality and a deep connection with the roots of the local ancestors. The destinations are known worldwide for excellent cuisine, selected events, local handicrafts and breathtaking natural scenery. 
This year's annual general meeting took place in Kitzbühel at the end of March. Following the strategy, the partnership of the destinations is used for joint processing of the US market, the exchange of knowledge between the locations is promoted and various future tourism topics are worked on together. In addition to experiences from the area of ​​sustainable initiatives, the participants also intensively exchanged know-how in the areas of digitization, quality management and convenient travelling.
A workshop with the Research & Development Manager of the Italian snow groomer manufacturer Prinoth, Martin Kirchmair, on the subject of the future of sustainable slope management rounded off the comprehensive program of the managing directors and directors from the destinations.
