Bergbahnen Wildhaus AG: Successful Winter Season

The Wildhaus cable cars and lifts are looking back on a very successful 2024/25 winter season. In the language of wine, one would say: an excellent vintage. The combination of optimal weather conditions, attractive offers, and high guest satisfaction ensured an all-round successful season in the Wildhaus ski resort.

Snow at the right time – a tailor-made start

The first heavy snowfall began in mid-December – just in time to start the holidays well prepared. A unique spell of good weather between Christmas and New Year created perfect conditions: plenty of sunshine, good snow conditions, and a veritable rush to the slopes and sun terraces. The season got off to a perfect start, laying the foundation for a very successful winter.

Often ideal weather conditions throughout the season

Guests were also able to benefit from excellent conditions throughout the rest of the winter season: persistently cold temperatures at night ensured consistently high slope quality, and the sunshine showed the Wildhaus snow sports area in its best light.

Innovation on and off the slopes

The new freestyle concept with a new park below the Gamsalp was extremely well received – by ambitious riders as well as families and beginners who wanted to try out new forms of movement in the snow.

The Wildhaus cable cars also set new standards in the culinary field this season. The revised "Pasta good, everything good" dining concept on the Gamsalp impressed guests with its wide variety, providing exciting culinary variety. The offering was complemented by the new "Pizza by the Piste" concept, a simple and enjoyable highlight right on the main piste, which was extremely well received by guests.

Events as emotional highlights

In addition to the daytime operations, various events also contributed to the positive season results. Of particular note were the Sunrise Snow Days, where around 400 children were able to take their first steps on snow. The Migros Ski Day was also a resounding success, with over 1,300 participants, and the Spring Session attracted numerous freestylers to the mountain at the end of the season.

Conclusion: A winter that is enjoyable in every respect

The Wildhaus cable cars and lifts are drawing a consistently positive conclusion to the past winter. Over 150,000 guests were welcomed in the last three and a half months. In terms of revenue, the season that has just ended is 23% above the five-year average and 15% above the long-term average. Those responsible look back with satisfaction on a season in which many pieces of the puzzle fit together perfectly: from the weather and infrastructure to the culinary offerings and events. With the Alpenyetis at the end-of-season party at the Berggasthaus Oberdorf last weekend, a successful season came to a fitting, joyful conclusion.

Early start to the 2025 summer season

Due to the opening of the Klanghaus, the Wildhaus cable cars will start the summer season with the Oberdorfbahn on May 24, 2025.
