Axamer Lizum: New 10 Person Hoadlbahn Gondola Under Construction
A new 10-seater monocable gondola with a middle station not far from the Sunnalm and a mountain station right next to the Hoadl house at 2,340 m is being built on the Axamer Lizum. With the new 10-person Hoadlbahn gondola it's just 6 minutes from the car park to the Hoadl sunny plateau!
The new Hoadlbahn with 75 cabins for 10 people each replaces the two 2-seater Hoadl I+II chairlifts and the 4-seater Schönboden chairlift. At the same time, a new administration building with shop and ski rental is being built next to the future Hoadlbahn valley station. The construction of a hydroelectric power plant on the Axamer Bach near Axams is also planned. The 3.83 gigawatt hours of electricity that are to be generated here per year could cover the needs of the Axamer Lizum systems to a large extent.
