Austrian & German Masters Snowboard Competitions Scheduled For 26 To 29 March
The Austrian & German Masters competitions will go down from 26 to 29 March at Nordkette Skylinepark and in K-Park Kühtai. Tirol will thus see an epic spring weekend full of contests and good vibes.
The Austrian Snowboard Association partnered with Zillertal Välley Rälley, QParks Tour and other motivated organisations already last season to bring a new face of the Austria Cup ranking. This year sees no difference and the Austrian Masters in Slopestyle is ranked the same way. All Austria Cup tour stops are WSF Reginal or National Level Events and give out points for the World Snowboarding Points List. The 4 best results are ranked.
In addition, the World Rookie Finals National Spots will be ranked over Austria Cup ranking. The best 2 Austrian Girls and Boys from the whole Austria Cup Tour Ranking, born on or before 1.1.2002 are qualificated for the World Rookie Final. The tickets will be handed out at the Austrian & German Masters in Slopestyle.
At the A&GM Slopestyle Finals in Nordkette Skylinepark Innsbruck supported by Sane Crew there are double points. The top 30 riders in the Austria Cup Ranking are qualificated for the finals. More info at www.powdern.com.
Just as in the previous years the halfpipe contest in KPark, Kühtai/Innsbruck is taking place. The halfpipe is an opened competition which means that every Austrian rider can try to get the title for themselves.
The German riders are welcomed to come get their national champion titles in slopestyle and halfpipe as well. The German national championship in Big Air is taking place on 7 to 9 February 2020 in Götschen/Bischofswiesen. Every Austrian snowboarder can participate as well to get the WSPL points. From 26 to 29 March 2020 the Austrian riders will fight over the Austrian Master Slopestyle and Halfpipe title. The Slopestyle title will be determined over the Austria Cup Tour ranking. The top 30 riders from the Austria Cup Tour ranking are qualificated for the finals. More info at www.powdern.com. The halfpipe contest is an opened competition. Everyone can take part.
The Austrian Masters winners in slopestyle and big air will be invited to the Springbattle 2021 taking place in Absolut Park to get a chance to compete at an international level. More info at www.absolutpark.com.
Super Grom Tour 2020:
The Super Grom Tour for the youngest riders is taking place this year again. The titles will be awarded in 2 age-categories at the last stop. The 3 best results are ranked.
The winners will be invited to the Austrian Masters. In addition to cool prizes, the World Rookie Rank points will be given out. More info at www.powdern.com.
