Audi Canada Gold Partnership Renews Through 2020
Alpine Canada announces the renewal of its longest standing partnership agreement, extending Audi Canada’s sponsorship with the Canadian Ski Teams through 2020. This season marks Alpine Canada’s seventh consecutive year in partnership with Audi Canada as the Official Automotive Partner.
“Since 2011, Audi Canada has provided unparrelled support to the Canadian Ski Teams through their sponsorship of Alpine Canada, and we could not be prouder to renew our partnership together through 2020,” said Alpine Canada President & CEO, Mark Rubinstein. “Our athletes and teams will continue to benefit from Audi Canada’s belief in high performance and innovation through the invaluable insights, opportunities and support our athletes and teams will receive.”
Audi Canada will continue to transport Alpine Canada athletes, coaches and support staff, from mountain to mountain, in their Audi quattro vehicles throughout Europe and North America. Providing vehicles on both continents ensures Alpine Canada athletes and teams arrive safely and comfortably at all destinations.
Audi Canada will become the presenting sponsor of Alpine Canada’s Audi FIS World Cup video highlight series, distributed across Alpine Canada’s Facebook channel throughout the season. This support from Audi Canada helps to bring World Cup ski racing to Canadian fans, sharing our athletes’ successes all season long.
Audi Canada will also be the title sponsor of Alpine Canada’s annual Canadian Ski Racing Awards, which recognizes the contributions and impact athletes, coaches, volunteers and other instrumental members have within the Canadian ski racing community.
Three of Alpine Canada’s top performing alpine athletes - Erik Guay, Manuel Osborne-Paradis and Marie-Michèle Gagon - have been appointed Audi Canada athlete ambassadors for the 2017-18 season. Each athlete has been provided with an Audi quattro vehicle for the season to ensure they remain safe and comfortable on the road.
“It’s exciting to have Audi Canada as a continued partner of the Canadian Ski Teams, and equally amazing to personally represent Audi Canada for the next season and beyond,” said Canadian Ski Team athlete, Manuel Osborne-Paradis. “To have a top class Automotive company see value in Alpine Canada and their athletes for multiple years shows you just how committed they are to success! At the forefront of performance and innovation, Audi brings unique insights that can help translate to faster times and better results. Thank you Audi Canada, together let’s define high performance.”
"We're proud to continue our long-standing partnership with Alpine Canada,” said Audi Canada President and CEO, Daniel Weissland. “We have some of the best skiers in the world and we're eager to support our Canadian team to the top of the podium."
